I think for me , I will stand by by statement. Alot, like the majority of the 91 tracks have a really minimalistic feel to me, too close to house. I can feel the late 80's electro pop/synth influence pretty heavy. Mostly, not anywhere near enough pianos & stabs yet, mostly no "Happy" influence. lot are even kind of dark.

I would have been all over those, steps in the direction I would have been very excited about.
Now this is what i'm talking about. I don't know what year they started adding in those sounds/style, but that blows 91 style out of the water, for me.

You do realise that the production equipment wasn't advanced enough at the time period. They were using samplers, keyboards and a old Atarti.

Jack Speed? You've jumped from 1991 to 95/96. There was a hell of a lot of good music in-between that time period. Tell ya what. Keep an eye on the stuff i post in the other genre section.

LOL tell that to the thousands who went to raves from 88 to 2000
Aye. Imagine the atmosphere in The Sanctuary at Helter Skelter if all the ravers were drinking cups of tea and eating crumpets.

Good news is that this has now been relaunched at sensible levels.

Stupid question, but why?
Why didn't you just buy the CD Album and THEN ripp the CD's? You save 20 quid

I presume the CD's will contain the mix and dj friendly versions (could end up just being the radio cuts though). Nothing stopping you for paying more for support, but if you only want to pay for the tracks, the CD-only or digital-only versions should be enough

I had no idea that powerstomp existed until Joey Riot released the Producer's Pack a few days ago or so. I'm gonna listen to a few tracks to find out what it is to make my opinion about the genre.
EDIT: Listening to MusicILove mix on page 4

And why would anyone support that bellend Riot by giving him money.
What you got against Joey Riot?
He's a fking prick
MC Storm is a bigger bellend, but people still pay him more than anyone else

Fair play. Was torn between the two of them but thought it would be better having the full label collection. Least it?s a goer this time didn?t fancy it before but the extra tracks was a better incentive to get in on it this time.

About a week left on the third attempt to crowdfund this beast, and it's looking like it will pull through this time.
For those that aren't interested in the new stuff, but are still soul seeking the old stuff, there's a back catalog only pledge option in there for 100 quid. This might possibly be the last chance to get some of the pre-2011 LTR/LTD releases. (No mention if it includes the SeriousSounds exclusives, but for it to be over 300 tracks as Joey has mentioned himself, they would absolutely have to be in there)
Looks like a few other peeps have jumped on the producer pack plus joey back-cat plus ltr back-cat tier I had requested too. Nice.
