What do the white oval stickers with black abreviations stand for? I see them everywhere on cars. One has DnB wich i think is for drum and bass. But what about the rest?

often they're places of origin
GB = great britain
TXL = texel (island off holland)
two i know of lol, im sure there are many others
quite a few family cars have them because i think they're required when ferrying from one part of the world to the next.
well, PnO and Stenna ferrys require you to have a country of origin sticker on your car
