i have been pretty down recently as i hav pretty much left my mech eng course at glasgow uni as it wasnt as practical as i thought it would be..i am now panicing that i have lost my chances of an apprenticeship or any other decent career.

im ot looking to bitch about it,just that thinking about this made me wonder what everyone else does, whether it be superstar dj or broke student like myself!

just curious, and who knows mibee give me some ideas as to what i should do with my life!

well i started in september and went resonably regularly up to the exams in december there (i say reasonably coz its like 2 hours travel from where i saty 'Kilmarnock' to the west end of glasgow)....but since then i think honestly ive been twice the glasgow and to 1 lecture...i got into the course coz i knew serious amounts about cars, but the course is all theory and it doesnt really inspire.

so to answer...almost sertainly not this year...and if i did try again next year ad have to try another aproach, whether that be to the same course, different course,or even different uni.

i really have no idea!!!!

I'm currently doing a degree Business I.T, But as yet, I've no idea on what i'm going to go on to do. I'm considering the possibility of studying something different once (and if ) I graduate.

I'm keeping my options very open as to what career i'm going to do, I don't want to narrow it down.
I'm simply going to be happy if i'm in a job I enjoy that pays well.

I wouldn't panic though, there are loads of people who drop out of courses when they find it's not what they really wanted to do.

Good to see your still a man-whore :)

If cars are your thing and this new class ended up being shit.....just look into something else that still deals with cars. If your passion is still there dont ignore it.....good luck either way zippy

My bro is doing a plumbing apprentiship and it sounds like a really sweet deal. Earn while you learn, yes please!

Im yet to decide if im going to uni, still have pretty much no idea what I wanna do. Getting lottery funding and becoming a full time athlete would be nice tho!
