Hi.
Back in school a friend gave me an old mix tape; if my recollection is correct it was some time between autumn 1996 and summer 1997, so the track is at least 9 or 10 years old. I have no idea what the track is called or who it's by.
The tape is chewed basically knackered, so all I have a bad quality recording of it. A sample can be found at:

If anyone has any idea what it is, I would be hugely appreciative.

3 seconds? Are you sure? The sample should be about two minutes.
