God I love Kev Energy!!
Two of my favourite live sets were his at HTID Summer Gathering and Westfest the year he stopped.
Just huge sets full of anthems and the crowd went mental both times. He's such a hero and bridged the gap between UK Hardcore and Freeform brilliantly.

It wasn't so much his productions which I do think are wicked BTW, it was how his set always had a mix of old and new stuff , + some cheese + some darker freeform and he always pushed new producers in his sets.
This combined with a shed load of pills which I don't really do anymore made for a very positive Kev Energy experience at the rave

Very cool! I didn't know about the news, thanks for the share.
Had the opportunity to see him once out here in Los Angeles. Great set with wicked scratching. He was also kind enough to hear me blah blah about how much I enjoy his mixing, label, and songs.

He genuinely enjoys that. 3 of us drove from Houston to Nashville to see him play when he was in town for his farewell tour in the US. We spent the night before his set hanging out, and dinner and the time before and after his sets the following night. Dude is amazingly friendly.
