I don?t know if any knows why the CD pack has seems to have stopped being produced since NYE, I have been looking for packs from Raves, Slammin, HTID in the sun and nothing. Luckily sub sonic is still releasing. But what has happened??

Easier and cheaper to just whap new sets online for download, probably.

I was never really into sets when I originally started listening to Hardcore. Becoming a DJ even less so. I want my unmixed tracks dammit!

Ravers Reunited are currently prepping some packs, AFAIK (some mention of a USB for the Weekender due to the number of sets).
Go buy "Hardcore Heaven 2" (2017) if you haven't already

I stopped buying cd packs about 5 years ago because cd pack superstore had an MP3 section where you could buy individual sets of the djs rather than the whole pack but that had also stopped, like you say slammin last packs are from west fest last year!

It works better if you only want certain sets. I used to hate buying tape packs for hardcore and getting a bunch of drum and bass, old skool and techno/trance sets included, when they had their own dedicated tape packs.

Yep like you would always get the mark eg, Billy Bunter etc sets in the hardcore packs,

haha this reminds me of my old tape packs! never ever got the cd packs when I was buying them they were the tape packs!  that's how long ago that was! but used to love getting tape packs now and again , I have loads of tape packs , haven't listened to them in years , as don't have a tape deck anymore, would love to give them a blast for old times sake

I still have all my tape packs. I think I maybe had 2 or 3 CD packs, I dunno, something didn't feel right about them.
