Recentley in Britain there has been lots of food taken off supermarket shelves because they could contain sudan dye which has been linked to causing cancer. Fair enough.
What about cigarettes? They definately can cause cancer but they haven't been removed. What the bloody hell is this country coming to?

uhm...this may be well off topic but I think drugs should be made legal in the u.s. yea people are addicted to it and people get high off it, but it's the same thing with sugar...why is it that alcohol is legal but drugs aren't? Drugs being illegal contribute to crimes and deaths in my opinion..............

Fast food can cause massive health problems that can lead to death. Think about how much people eat of that shit and how much it is huriting them in that way.

I think the point is, Fags have health warnings on them, everyone is aware that you run the (High) risk of getting cancer from smoking.
Theres a big difference between fags and food stuff, which is taken for granted to be safe.

Smoking is bad, people know that, but its personal choice, some people do it in habbit, to look good, bordem, stress relif, many issues,
Its just like asking why do people take drugs, drink alcohol, get in fights, have riskful jobs.... many many things people do everyday which could potentially harm you, like why dosent london have a big sign wen you enter saying "please be aware you will inhale *insert boffy polution gasses* which can cause *insert boffy medical disease*"
And people with b.o problems, they dont have a medical warning on em saying "please proect your children by not inhaling this smelly bastard"
I do comprehend that smoking pisses quite alot of people off, but just dont forget its other things that get overlooked too.

We should follow the Irish example and ban smoking from all public places including Pubs!!!
One main reason with alcohol I can drink a beer and get drunk if I so desire and won’t affect the person sitting next to me.
But if that person lights up I have no choice but to virtually share that person’s fag. Weather I like it or not :-(
