I didn't really have a taste for music before hardcore. I'm sure I listened to music, but I don't really remember what kind.

The Lion King Soundtrack, followed by 80's metal, followed by 90's pop-emo (weezer), followed by Eurohouse, followed by hardhouse, followed by hardcore, followed by dutch hardcore, followed by makina. Still listen still to the last four.

Never really paid much attention to any music until hardcore came about. Was into a bit of pop rock - queen, status Quo etc. Then this fast dance music started to be played at some acid house parties I was at and I immediately fell in love with the feeling of bass ripping through your body and the fast pace of it too.

I think I was always into hardcore before I or hardcore was born...
