If I was into sharkey more I would have been all over the completionist edition.
Do you see projects like this coming out in the future?
Or how often does an arist go through with something like this?
I know there are TONS of uk hardcore artists I wish would do this, no doubt.

Joey Riot made DVD with his stuff on. I believe it went for 50 quid too. I dont know how well it went though, but I bought it.

Its almost 14 years since this album was announced and at one point in 2011 was fully scrapped in favour for a website (Sharkey Music) which had all the stuff (I assume) thats in the completionist edition available as single mp3s. Then he got pissed off on the piracy of Hardcore Energy 2 and basically told the scene your not getting anything.
Ive followed the scene for 20+ years and I think Sharkey is the only one who's held onto this much music for so long unreleased.
Although I was talking to Robbie Long 2 years ago and he asked me if it would be good idea to release a DVD of mp3s/wavs of all his material ever made for 50 quid. So I could be wrong
interesting insight.
and please message robbie long back and say YES . haha.

Your right, was just hoping that some tracks I really love made it there since there was a disc full of old tracks on it, as people are mentioning tracks that are on his hardlife album which to me is pure stupid as there already on an album and shouldn't be on a new 1, not unmixed anyway, if they appear on the dj mix then that is something completely different, so glad that panned out
Like you say its an artist album, so the tracks are on it that are supposed to be, supposed to be released years ago
Fair enough everyone entitled to their own opinion on what should and should not be included. I do feel though for an album of this size, there are some tracks I'm surprised that aren't on the unmixed CDs. Yeah look forward to seeing what's on Sharkey's stem mix.
There are the remixes on CD1 by various artists which is fine but would have been great for there to have been new or unreleased/ unheard Sharkey tracks/ remixes to have featured on the album.

As far as CD1 goes, that *was* the original plan back in 2014. Sharkey has a more-than-full-time job, which is quite demanding, and even getting the time to pull this together has been an endurance trial.
It's also a case of maximising demographics; some new-to-the-scene types may be pulled in by the "new" remixes and discover a catalog of an artist they've perhaps heard of but aren't fully versed of.
Sharkey always enjoyed A/Ring; if you look back through Bonkers (etc) you'll notice he's put other aritists on, ahead of his own material, throughout. Pulling together the unmixed disc, as well as some bits for the stem mix, is what's got him excited about this project and is largely why it's happened at all.

It's looking likely that it will be new years before I have the pennies to buy this - am I still going to be able to get the full collection in one go or will it be too late, and I will need to buy the bundles and whatnot separately?

I know there's not room for many tracks. I would have thought Death By Stereo, Product Of Society, It's all just hardcore, Frantik, The Warning would have been on album.
Couple of other tracks good to hear again earlier - Sharkey & Robbie Long - Where's the Party At? and Stormtrooper & Social Outcast - Body Groove and Helix & Sharkey -
The Epilogue. Visions of Infinity original. Take Me Up (Energy & Sharkey remix).
